ENGINE BOGS WHEN TRYING TO REV IT.

Found a 1971 honda cb750 in a barn rewired the bike and cleaned carbs got the bike running really well,but
when you rev the engine it bogs down, you have to feather the throttle to keep it running.
Why?.
