UPDATE:

I am still having issues.  I replaced the fuse and still no light - finally hit my limit of knowledge about electrical work and took it to someone local at a shop.  Of course, as I pulled up the headlight was working and there was nothing to be done.

Just today it cut out on me again.  Checked the fuse and it's intact.  So, it's not the bulb (because it started working again), and it doesn't seem to be a fuse issue.  Also, both times the headlight has cut out mid ride and not just after I turn it on, which makes me believe it's not a failure reconnecting power to the headlight within the starter mechanism as is often the case.  A valid assumption?

Bad wiring?  If anyone has ideas let me know!  I need this bike to get me to work everyday and the headlight is one of those bigger things I need to maintain legality on my commute!
