Routed the hose to the tranny vent and all is well. took a 20-min ride and right side of bike was
free of oil. Back tire nice and dry. Of course I have to ask. What could be causing the oil
tank to vent so much oil? If I had wanted to ride for the afternoon I would have run out of
oil long before I ran out of a tank of gas. This bike sat in a shop close to a year and a half
dissembled. To include the engine, parts being stored in four different containers. All was
assembled together by me. Did I miss something, or did a componet get tampered with?
Orginal problem was transmission slipping out of 2nd, and third gear. Still slips out of 2nd.
