Superbike bars seem to be a real popular choice. Never used them myself,but I do have a bike I'm building and plan to go that route.

I dont know of any bolt-on steering dampers. But the piston style dampers are easily attached to most any bike. I have one on my silver bike and it works well. High speed wobbles are now gone,but it really doesnt affect general riding at all. I did not notice any increased effort in turning the bars. You can usually find them pretty cheap-used-on ebay. I got mine for $20. You will need a mount for the frame to attach it to.They tend to run around $30-40.
