The pulse generator (located on the left-hand side of the bike) is wet. There needs to be oil in there to keep the gears lubricated, do not take the cover off unless you have the bike on the center stand or standing straight up (not on the kickstand).
There are plenty of people on here with DOHC bikes that will help you, and this forum is full of people that want to help you, but like anywhere we do have our resident grouch
