I swapped to Daytona handlebars. They are not keyed so the throttle control moves some, the lights control broke in half when I was tightening, but it stays.
The throttle has to be manually moved back. It is just stiff now. I had to adjust the clutch lever a lot too, it was too tight. I'm thinking maybe I can adjust the throttle near the carburetors? Not sure.
All of the wires and cables are longish now, which might be causing the problems. But I don't know what to do about keying. I'm thinking maybe I can put some bicycle tube in the throttle control piece to make it not move on the handlebars.
What a stupid situation. Keys are from ancient idiot times before the clarification was made that clamping properly is stronger and better.
I like the handlebars better though. Even though they aren't wide enough so my levers won't point up too much at the ends. They feel uncomfortable to use now, Daytona's are not so smart for CB's.
