Good point bud. Gates (the belt company) put alot of effort into belt conversions for the 750 sohc and failed. Doubt I could out do their resources. They were killing output shaft bearings,but they never upgraded from balls to needles. The other issue was belt width. The design of the frame wont allow a very wide belt/pulley to be installed. I dont mind moving frame tubes :) I just dont have access to the machines to produce the one off pulleys,nor can I afford to hire it done. It is still something I ponder on quite often. Especially when looking at hackjob. I always like to say failure is always an option-giving up is not!
