Springer front end?

Has anybody put a springer front end on their CB750s? I have a 1980 CVB750 (I don't know how to tell weither its a DOHC or a SOHC) and I want to put a fatter tire in the front so I figured I put a new front end all together. I love the way the springer front ends look and I want that look (they help provide the fatter tire that I desire [that rhymed] and the overall bobber look). I've been looking all over the place at springer front ends but they don't realy specify if they would fit my bike. Does anybody know  where I can find one that will easily fit my bike or will I have to cut shit up (I'd prefer not to considering the fact I dont know how to weld)?
