I was just wondering about the rear brake, sounds like I'm going to keep the drum brake and just put new parts into it. I want to keep the front brake as well when I put the springer forks on the bike. I hear more bad than good about the DNA brand but I guess I will just have to find out myself. I'm no motorcycle mechanic or anything like that but working on my bike is a learning process (hence why I got such an old bike). Is changing out the front end going to be extremely difficult or something I can do with my buddy? I was looking online for instructions and saw a couple of videos on it and it doesn't seem too hard, I just don't want to kill myself either. Any tips on tools I might need for the job? I just got the simple shit.
I found this site that has the wheels I want to eventually put on my machine. Thoughts?

(they're half way down the page, red rim spoke with white wall, both fat tires)
This site also sells the DNA springer package and all that good stuff. Do you think this is a good deal?
Thanks for all your help guys.
