Actually, I fell on a freeway on ramp coming home from work in 1987.  After my wife spent half the night picking asphalt chunks out of my hide,  she pressured me to stop riding.  I eventually pushed it into the garage and that is where it sat until last spring.  The engine was dry seized, and with some advice from guys on the board here, I got it broke loose.  Then a bunch of rebuild kits, new rubber and battery, some carefully chosen obscenities uttered at full volume,  and viola!  She's back on the road.  I've put a measley 700 on since getting the old girl running again, but starting to push out a little further as I get more confident that she's not going to quit on me.  Last loop was 139 miles
