Each tire will have it's max pressure listed,but you don't want to run at max pressure. It does indeed change depending on which tire you use,though. I have Shinko 712's on one bike and run them at 38 psi. Any less and it feels wobbly. My other bike has an Avon Speedmaster up front ( 32psi) and a Shinko Classic rear ( 28 psi) . It's all relative, but 30-35 psi is a good rule of thumb. Better to have to much pressure than too little so long as you don't exceed the max.
