Put a leaf spring on it.
You can get shorter shocks, but you will have to look for them. I found a set of 10" at a swap meet last year. You might need to modify your mounts though to mount another type of shock since the CB 750 uses it's own type bottom mount. Also cut that brace off. Thousands have already been cut off. Unless you are racing at speeds of 150MPH, or more, you will never miss it.
