Have you checked/emptied the blow-by tank, beneath the battery?  This tank captures oil/water crap, from combustion, and stores it.  The crud accumulates faster in rain-riding.  Once the tank fills up, it will cause the engine to run improperly.  To drain it, there is a hose, hanging down, beneath the battery.  Pull the plug, and let the crap run out, then replace the plug.

Have you run SeaFoam through the gas tank, yet?  It will dry out the fuel (it absorbs water), and it will dissolve minor varnish deposits within the entire fuel system.  Follow directions listed on the can.  It is also a good idea to add SeaFoam to the crankcase, just before an oil change:  it will dissolve carbon deposits, and other crud, within the engine, and the transmission, to be caught in the oil filter -- when this happens, your oil will turn coal black -- change oil and filter immediately.  This only needs to be done once every 20,000-50,000 miles.  With the T6 oil, it may not be necessary, as the T6 has more detergent in it than most oils (designed for diesels, but rated SM for cars, also JASO rated for M/C use).

If the SeaFoam, and the blow-by tank emptying, do not cure the RPM issue, I would suggest using a different vehicle.  If it is not something minor that these two things can fix, then you may end up stranded somewhere, with the added bonus of trying to ship, or fix, your bike wherever it fails.  Cheers!
