All my carbs are round tops. I dont know what it'd do to rubber, but the stuff is pretty harsh. I wouldn't risk it myself.Well, very harsh. Brass parts can go in at full strength with no issues. The aluminum parts I do 1:4 ratio-worx-water. Dip for 10 or 15 seconds then rinse. The bowls on the roundtops are not aluminum.I think maybe they are zinc?? It'll literally burn the chrome off and cause the insides to melt if left in,or unrinsed for too long. You know you can put aluminum foil and toilet bowl cleaner in a bottle and make a bomb? Well, same thing here. The worx actually is dissolving the aluminum.
I'm warning you man. The worx cuts varnish like MAD! but it's kinda hardcore.
Naptha is what Tools turned me on to and it works pretty good. Not harmful and evaporates quick and clean.Pretty low odor ,too. I tried the Pinesol once and it was the biggest slimiest mess to clean up behind I ever saw
FWIW-I still use the Worx. But with caution!
