I used Pinesol on my CV carbs when cleaning 'em up. Just make sure you clean out every. Freaking. Passage.
It actually gunked up the fuel rail to the point that it wasn't getting any fuel down the tube to #4 cylinder. Talk about a large tube to gunk up.
