That is what their supposed to look like. Is there a plastic sort of retainer underneath the slide? I think this link will help a bit! cant be sure its the one i used since the computer I'm on is a dinosaur, but give it a shot. http://www.cb750c.com/publicdocs/SeanG/Honda_Carb_Manual_revE.pdf
