I have a factory manual. It came with the bike. I have looked completely through it and found NO INFORMATION about how to set up the carbs, other than for the idol screws. Icerigger and cdaiscool have graciously forwarded some useful information. Those sync screws have to be set somewhat correctly upon reassembly if one is to expect the engine to run and idol. Common sense there. After all it isn't uncommon for and old bike that has been sitting to not run or idol without a carb teardown.
