   Stock on mine is 14 front ,43 rear. went to a 15 front ,left rear at 43,THEN went to a 16 front ,43 rear,Every time the rear stayed the same amount of teeth 43.(new 630 chain)
  Checked (Paul)The cover wont fit with 16T and 17T wont clear the cases,new there was more,His memo, lots better.Since my charging prob(2months)havn't even put that cover back on(stator wires easyer to see/test).
    I went to check gears in extra box and seems I left on the 15T in front,Then remembered I thought it best for during winter since wetter N slicker out and not going out of town very far till Summer,Sorry.bout the miss.
     But you go UP in front and Down in rear for  lower R.P.M.'s (better gas too)Easier on engine when holding for long periods of time like 30+min.
  as said I'm at 5k at 70m.p.h.bigg diff in sound and fill,most of time I don't even go into 5th,but then I don't ride Interstate much at all.
