One part of Craig's post that I thought hit the nail on the head: " Odd that conspiracy theorists distrust the media, then turn around and use its raw reporting claims as evidence."
For the record,I never intended to imply that I bought in to this theory. Only that I thought it was interesting.
Do I think Homeland was contracted as mercenaries in Sandy Hook? No way!
Do I think the Gov't would use the media to promote their gun control agenda? 100% YES!
The United States Gov't has been known to intend to scare the public before in order to get their way. On our own soil and risking our own people's safety at that! Google "Operation Northwoods" and have a look-see. Better yet,here it is: WIKI

It also includes Operation Dirty Trick, a plot to blame Castro if the 1962 Mercury manned space flight carrying John Glenn crashed, saying: "The objective is to provide irrevocable proof that, should the MERCURY manned orbit flight fail, the fault lies with the Communists et al. Cuba [sic]." It continues, "This to be accomplished by manufacturing various pieces of evidence which would prove electronic interference on the part of the Cubans."
All's well that ends well,right?

Absolutely! Even though we may be talking via internet over the period of several days I still consider it to be a converstaion and would not ignore anyones input. Even though Craig does apparently have a screw or two loose...remember Operation Frozen Nipple?
