Gear changes - would appreciate your thoughts on the the following. My K1 has been completely rebuilt with many new parts including the clutch and cables etc. Changing gear is very clunky, specially between 2-3rd gear and also its hard to find neutral when stopped. I checked out the clutch actuator adjustment and the cable adjustment as per the workshop manual and apart from a slight adjustment, its all set up fine.

As stated above, neutral is hard to find when the engine in running. If you use the kill switch to stop the engine when you are stationary, finding neutral is then no problem (sort of seems like a clutch issue?). When you start the bike, the back wheel does not spin, therefore I assume the clutch set up is fine. The clutch is presently adjusted so that the clutch comes into play at the upper end of the clutch lever release - is this correct or is this problem normal for an early model CB750's?
