Once adjusted at the lock nuts, there is still plenty of adjustment length in the screw. The screw is adjusted until just touching and backed off as per the manual and then adjusted at the cable. As stated earlier, the clutch works right and the end of the lever action - is this correct or should this action be mid to 3/4 of the lever action?

You sort of feel the need to turn the screw in a little further to see if this will help make gear changing smoother?
