Indeed a confusing question about oil. Not sure about changing from Specto 10w-40 mineral oil to another 10w-40 mineral oil from Havoline. They can't be that different surely? A thicker 20w-50 oil is mentioned in the link below for older engines and I can understand how a thicker oil could make a difference, however my engine is really all new. Interesting..
