CB750 VIN issue

I picked up a bike this past weekend that was marked as a 1972 on the title.
The VIN is CB750 1115122. Per the parts manual the frame numbers for the K0 are: 1000001 - *; for K1: 1044650 - *. It appears that my VIN represents a VERY late K1... is that right? If not, then what model is this?
Obviously I'm a newbie to the CB750 world, so thanks in advance for your help!!
