Other than my commodore 64 back in the 80's, my Toshiba satellite laptop is the only computer I have owned and used over the last several years. Small and portable is great, you can take it on the bike, laundry, coffee shop, free internet everywhere, but I have high speed wireless at home. You may have picked up something already but I would recommend a used electronics store/ pawn shop. Thats where I bought my first sony cybershot digital cam last year ($50). Went back for a $10 charger and free $50 memory card. great photos, better than my old 35mm. haha. cheers
