Just an update, I tried using the jumper wire from the plus side of the battery to the starter button wire on the solenoid and got nothing, it didnt actuate the solenoid. Guess that means I have a bad solenoid, so looks like Im going to be out another 10.50 for another replacement.
I know enough to get me in trouble.
