So - can you keep it running if you hold the throttle open slightly? Put your bike in gear, and give it a little gas - just enough to get back to the normal "idle speed". If the bike still runs when you open the throttle slightly in gear, then I'd bet good money that this in your problem.
BTW - yes your bike has clutches - they are there - but you don't control them directly. When you switch into gear, a clutch is engaged.
The 750A bike differ from the 400/450A bikes in this way. The later 400/450A bikes have no clutches at all. Different methods used. I wish that the 750A bikes were designed like the 400/450A bikes for this reason . . . a lot less complicated.
