As long as they don't do it like Volkswagon. My friend had a Passat and it is inside the oil pan, so everytime you get an oil change, you have to pay for an oil pan gasket and all the labor to remove and reinstall it, PLUS the labor to remove all the underbody pans that are in the way. Her oil change and tune up ran about $800 (80k mile service, so there was a lot more involved than just the oil)
