Yes ...that would be very stupid.
Great for the oil change business. Another chance  to strip more bolts on your expensive car.


Just as bad as fuel pumps inside of gas tanks.

Remember the 747 that blew up and killed all aboard when the fuel pump wires
got old chaffed and arc'd.

Dumb..dumb...dumb.


Please people do not buy cars or motorcycles that have these features.

Many new sport bikes have the fuel pump buried under the intake manifold.
The Honda Magnas and VFR's at least had it on the side where it was easy to get too.
