Thanks Johny I remember 7 too, just 32yrs ago!  I removed the spawn of satan tonight, took all of about 5mins.  The vent tube between the carbs I just left the hose attached and ran it between the pod filters.  Now I just need to get a rubber cap to cap off the nipple on the number two and Im back in business!  Thanks for the advice, its appreciated, even if you are a youngin lol!
