a great place to ridethe island of Rhodos [Rhodes], Greece. I was there a couple of years ago . . . beautiful countryside and some wild roads [this isn't me; I wish it were!].
The driving itself: pretty wild! narrow twisty two-lane mountain "highways" . . . scooters coming both directions; I'd pass one, another car would pass me as I'm passing, and a car or two would come from the other direction . . . somehow we all came out alive. still wasn't as bad as being in San Juan Costa Rica -- 5-6 lanes of traffic squeezed into two narrow lanes!
