Perhaps I can speak for the admins and owner of this site:

Re-Run started this site to discuss the CB750s.  Old ones, new ones, SOHC, DOHC, manual, automatic... Any discussion is welcome, as long as it doesn't stray too far from the main topic. Any and all knowledge transfer is welcomed and appreciated.  Accurate information is even more prized.

The goal (if there is one) is to get these bikes running, resurrecting them from junkyards or barns or backyards or basements.  If that can be done with the help of people on our forum, so much the better.  If that info resides elsewhere, then by all means go there and get it.  Then they need to be RIDDEN, since that is what Mr. Soichiro Honda had in mind: transportation.

I've been here for almost 3 years.  I've been able to share what I've learned over those 3 years, and the over 35 years of other automotive endeavors before that. I've also learned a GREAT deal from others on this forum.  I'm by no means the expert on these machines.  I'm just one of the admins who keeps the peace, and keeps the focus.  Luckily, with our users, it's a very easy job, and everybody gets along OK. I've learned how to translate Piute-speak into common English, and which personalities are a little more crotchety than others.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled carburetor discussion.
