Have you ever seen a fat guy do a cart wheel? If you were in my yard about 30 minutes ago you would've. OK,maybe not really, but I wanted too! This stuff works guys and gals! For now at least.
It looks like black water. That's all.
-Spray the supplied brake cleaner(I imagine any would do)on to the friction side of the pads and wipe them off.
- Let dry
-3 drops of the magic water on 1 pad,rub them together to spread evenly
-Let dry 15 minutes
-Reapply and let dry another 15 minutes
-Install
- Silence!
Honestly,I almost hate to post that this stuff works, some of y'all go try it and it doesn't, then y'all think I'm a liar. Seriously. I can't believe how well it worked.
I'm running what EBC calls HH pads. They are fully sintered vs semi-sintered. Supposedly they are the worst for squealing. Also, you know the little nylon doohickey's that go between the pad and the piston? The thing that's supposed to help brake squeal? I have none. My rotors are not surfaced to prevent squeal, either. I have every ingredient for squealing brakes that a boy could have. And they did. I didn't change one single thing except to use this product. Complete silence now.
Now for the disclaimer: I only rode 1 mile since using this stuff. Down my driveway and back. I cannot comment on if it affects braking performance or not. I cannot comment on if it will wear off in a day,a month or last forever. I just went for a ride down the driveway and back and the only thing I heard when I applied my front brakes were sshhhhhhhhhh. Not a hint of squeal, just the sound of pad friction against stainless rotor.
I will report back as soon as I know more, but so far things are really looking good! Fingers crossed!
