Yeah, the exhausts will fit on the same year or series. eg. the same configuration will fit DOHC's 79-83.

The fun you're going to have is if you are replacing a 4x4 or 4x2 exhaust with a 4x1, you'll have to rejet. There are other threads that cover rejetting, giving good starting points.
