I popped open the instrument panel, but it didnt seem like I could open the tach or speedometer.  I take it that there is a way to open them up to get at the lights?  As for the tail light, I opened it up as well and there are two light bulbs, both of which light up when the brake is applied, but otherwise, stay off.
