I have done it.  I have a noticeable bump in horsepower judging by the seat of the pants dyno, but it is hard to tell what is caused by the increased compression ratio (from relapping the valves which I did at the same time) and the hotter cam.

Apparently you get an even bigger bump if you degree the cam a little bit, but you require slotted gears to do that, and I am not up for that investment yet and I've heard it's problematic to do that on a daily rider as opposed to a track bike that is getting the head redone all the time.
