Depends on your shop. The one near me charged me $50, but I also go to their shop often to hang out (they do weekly meets). That was both a sync and to adjust the mixture screws.

Also it can be a PITA if you've got a cylinder that's acting up. And nearly impossible without a 90 deg. screw driver.

FYI, a carb sync has nothing to do with needing a 90-deg. screw driver. That's because you only need a really long extension for the socket to mess with the throttle plates to match to #2 cylinder. This tool's for the carb idle mixture jet.
