I'm guessing that since you stopped at a light she thought you were going to turn right?
I was taught in motorcycle training to own the lane at stoplights, otherwise cars will do that. To far left and they'll assume you're turning left, too far right and they'll assume you're turning right. I was also told to watch mirrors whenever you're stopping and keep checking them until it's time to go in order to avoid getting rear ended.
I would be money that the person in the truck was texting.
Very good idea to get out of the line of fire in a long procession of cars like that. I will be doing that from now on. The dude filming it would have been creamed.
