I have one on the water buffalo. I love it. But the tach is famous for not working properly out of the box. The manufacturer recommends to add a 600 ohm resistor in the line to make it operate if it doesn't work right out of the box. Something I've been meaning to do,but havent gotten around to yet. Mainly because I'm just simply not worried about that tach. Everything else works like a charm.
