These bikes love to rev. and were built for it. Most people use to cars or Harleys lug them down to much. Your bike will run all day and night at 6-7 grand. I keep mine about 1 grand below red line all day with no problems for the 40,000 I put on it and the valve cover has never been off. Keep the oil fresh and toped off at all times. I go 3K on my oil and filter. Keep your tuneup up to date and it will not let you down. Try to stay out of stop and go traffic as much as you can.
