I get around 38 to 40 mpg pushing it down the highway maintaining around 70 mph.  But as mentioned before, I'm on the large side.  On a recent ride in the mountains, I got 48, but it was a lot of riding 50 to 60, and 8 to 10,000 feet asl.  Depending on where I'm riding, I start looking for fuel around 150.  2 hours of riding and I'm ready to stand up and walk around a bit and take a pull off the water bottle.  I believe the F has a 5.1 gallon tank with 1.1 of it being the reserve.  I may be overcautious, but I don't like to get to the bottom of the tank and risk pulling any crap that has formed or taken up residence there.
