I measured them tonight and they match just like you say. The DOHC heads have what look like deeper fins around the exhaust ports. I'm not sure if you used a SOHC spigot style exhaust if you'd be able to get the clamps on or not.
Hopefully,if I ever get the time,I'm gonna try a spare set of pipes on there and see what it ends up looking like.
