cam chain A replacement question.

    So my cb1000 custom is in desperate need of a new crank to cam chain. I have adjusted the tensioner a few times in hopes it would solve my rattling chain but it never does. My budget is very, very, slim so im pretty much forced to think about a master link setup. I would love to be able to afford to have someone do the job right or have the time and knowledge to do it myself. This is my only means of transport at the moment and the only repairs I can do, cannot last more than 2 days, my days off. I dont believe i can access the tensioner spring without cracking the motor in half, to see if its stuck, right? Woe is me with my automatic adjuster. Any help or info would make my day.
