I think my Vulcan is more ugly than a Virago. It's close though. They both deserved to be cut and welded on.

Plus, the Virago looks easier to work on. Every section of the Vulcan manual begins with "Step 1: Remove engine"!

. And in half the procedures the second step is to split the cases. If you took it to a shop to change the stater the job would be about $1000.00. If you broke the shift rod, which is a weak point in the internal linkage, it would be about $2000 to fix at a dealer. Talk about disposable motorcycles.
