Tools, This 1976 Hondamatic is a different bear as you well know.  With all this step the throttle up when you put it in "L" or "D" on the 77 and 78, but don't check that on the 76, just put a test light on it and check it while you drive crap, I feel like I am in the learning phase. 

You said, "I disconnect them on my bikes, mostly because I do not run the automatic carbs. And that is because I cannot get carb boots for them."  You have lost me and/or gone over my head with the term "Automatic Carbs.

Can you ramble on a little bit for me on this subject?  Need to learn all I can about this bike while I am attempting to restore it.
