Starter solenoid issue

Ok. I'm now working on my wiring. Using a wiring harness from vintagecb750.com for my '74 cb750k4. For me. Looks like I'll be chopping it up an not using a lot of the wires in it. I've looked at diagrams of the solenoid. One terminal goes to the starter motor cable coming out of the case. The other to the positive terminal of the battery. Check. What do the two wires that come out of the solenoid go to though. Most diagrams show one yellow/red wire and a green/reddish wire. First color is the dominant color. The other a stripe. I've seen one wire going to the key ignition switch. The other. Donno. But my ignition key has a plug on it that plugs into my harness. Soooo. What do I do? Any help. Better/more complete diagram pix. Something. I'm not very good at electrical things. So dumb it down for me please.
