cb900 cylinder on cb 750 engine

Hello guys
I need some help here.
I am trying to fit a cb900dohc cylinder pistons and rods on a 750 dohc.
I don't have the 900 crank.
Today I have mesurued rods pistons etc and find 2.5mm lowest stroke difference.
I don't care if I don't get full power of 900 because anyway my 750s cylinder and pistons are destroyed and I already have the 900 parts.
Should be any problem with this?
Also what about the long cam chain length?
