1977 CB750K, when the choke is on and it's warming up it idles around 1200 (off the top of my head), but after it's been running for a while and warmed up choke off, the idle stays at around 3000 rpm. I'll put it in gear and let the clutch out without throttle to bring the revs down, then pull the clutch back in, they stay down for a few seconds then go back up to 3000. Turning the choke on and off when warm does not make a difference in idle speed. Carbs were fully rebuilt and cleaned recently.

Is there a single idle screw or does each carb have their own idle adjustment? I'm not very literate in carbs, still learning them.
