I'd like to get opinions on an idea I have been mulling over. I have ridden Bikes with 2 rear shocks, mono shocks and hardtails (ouch!!!

), but I have never ridden a hardtail with the suspension in the seat. For the bike I'm building I'm kinda going for an older bobber/chopper look and the look of a hardtail with a spring seat is growing on me. My quandary is that this bike is going to be a daily driver, and by daily I'm talking to/from work, roadtrips, above 40 I'm riding. I just don't have any background on how well that system rides. Short rides I could go without a suspension at all, just gotta swerve those potholes, but what is y'alls opinion for the longer rides and in general?
It's only illegal if you get caught.
If at first you don't succeed, use more lighter fluid
95% of Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road... The other 5% made it home.
