I've used it on an old pickup once. It leaked immediately. Not horrible, but you could hear it ticking.I was broke, and it was good enough to pass State Inspection.
However, I also had an old International tractor that had about a 3' long piece of it with a very slight bend in it. Was on there when I got it. Worked flawlessly for the 12 years or so that I owned it. I actually believe the incredible amount of rust on it may have been what was sealing it.
