Stupid question about Frankenstein cafe build

Hello.  I am a newbie to bikes in general and then I went and purchased a custom built 82' CB750c cafe bike that was created by a guy that builds drag bikes as my first bike.  So I think it is just left over pieces that he used to build it.  As such, it is not easy to work on.  On the other hand, this thing runs like a son-of-a-gun.  And it is beautiful in person, at least to me.  Anyway, I have a stupid question.  I have looked everywhere for this info.  I finally found manuals but they don't address this specifically that I can see.  And I know how to read an electrical schematic.  My brake light went out.  The running light works, just not the brake light.  And neither the front nor the rear works so I was assuming it wasn't either of those switches but rather a fuse - if this has one.  I have taken a lot of stuff off the bike in order to locate the fuse box but for the life of me, I can't find it.  Also he changed the forks to ones from a GSXR and the speedometer went out.  But I can't find another one for whatever year he used (I am not sure and he moved away).  I would love to find a used speedo.  Thanks for reading my long intro email.  And this is a terrible pic of the bike.  I'll get more later.
